La Fundación rusa para la Protección de las Ballenas exhortó este viernes (17.09.2021) a boicotear las empresas danesas tras la cacería masiva de delfines registrada hace unos días en las islas Feroe (Dinamarca).
Dinamarca «debe sentir que seguir matando a seres inteligentes y alterar el equilibrio de la vida en el océano no es una opción», señala el texto. El Fondo alentó a ignorar la producción de marcas danesas como LEGO, Tuborg, Carlsberg, Pandora y ECCO.
En un fiordo de la isla Eysturoy fueron sacrificados el pasado fin de semana pasada 1.428 delfines.

For several decades in the media, and now in social networks, shocking videos and photos of the «Grindadrap» appear annually-allegedly the traditional hunting season for pilot whales, and other dolphin species . The North Sea turns Red on them, hundreds of dead, decapitated dolphins lie on the shore in even rows, and people with long cleavers continue to cut the bodies that are struggling in agony.
We believe that this should be put to an end, and right now. The Kingdom of Denmark, which includes the Faroe Islands, the Faroese Parliament, Danish and Faroese companies should feel that it is impossible to continue killing intelligent beings, to disrupt the balance of life in the world’s oceans!
And, oddly enough, it is in our power to make them feel it!
We urge all Russians, citizens of other countries to remember the bloody waters of the Faroe fjords, and think a few more times before buying the usual goods produced by companies of the Danish Kingdom, by the way, quite popular in Russia, there are the same goods from other countries that do not kill dolphins and whales. We can do without Danish beer and Faroese salmon, cruises to Denmark and the Faroes.
